Known as the premier ensemble at WHS, the Windham High Jazz Band rehearses weekly and performs in concerts and festivals throughout the year. Recently the jazz band placed 4th (Jazz Band) and 5th (Jazz Combo) at the Berklee Jazz Festival and represented the state of Connecticut as Disney's Featured Performer in Orlando, Florida. The group is audition-only and performs diverse, high-level music. Students find jazz band to be a very rewarding and highly creative outlet for musical expression.
