Connecticut State Museum of Natural History

The Connecticut State Museum of Natural History (CSMNH) highlights Connecticut's rich natural and cultural heritage to inspire wonder in and appreciation of the natural world. We use our collections and programming to tell meaningful stories that impact our visitors and create opportunities for interactions with nature. We always have a great time at the festival and are excited to bring kid-friendly activities to Third Thursday in 2025! We're working on activities for May and June, but in July we'll be celebrating UConn Extension's Annual Bug Week by focusing on urban pollinators. Another activity will be focused on herpetofauna. We always have specimens/items on display to supplement our activities.
